Our new wand vibrator, Cloud , will probably have you floating on a pink cloud. At least if you have some of the same wishes for what a vibrator should be able to do, as more than 31,000 followers.
"We have had an ongoing dialogue with our community in relation to what their dream wand should be able to do. We have been able to do this through polls and an open DM, where thousands of people have helped us come up with a design that can do exactly what a lot of people are asking for.
For us, it is completely natural to involve our customers in the development of new products. They are the ones we make them for, so for us their attitude is paramount," says Melissa Hartelius, founder and CEO of Klub Venus.
With Cloud, Club Venus has made a different version of the classic wand vibrator with a beautiful, curved shape that follows the curves of the body. There has been a special focus on ergonomics, so that it is comfortable to hold and can reach around all bodies.
The category "Wand vibrator" really became known in Sex and the City , where Samantha tries to return her defective wand after "it failed to give her an orgasm" . That comment raises wondering eyes from the sales clerk, who insists that the massager is for the back.
A wand has a super powerful motor that makes rumbling and deep vibrations. It is therefore also often larger than other types of vibrators. If you have difficulty achieving orgasm, for many, powerful vibrations can help provide the right amount of stimulation.
"We knew we wanted to make a more intuitive version of the iconic piece of sex toy that a wand is, but apart from that, all decisions are made on the basis of feedback, wishes and experiences from our community."
The conversation with Klub Venus' community has given a unique insight into the very different needs of thousands of people. When no two bodies are the same, such a conversation is a decisive factor in a design process where the focus is on including as many as possible.
"Our community came up with so many good points that we have included in the design. One described that they don't think wand vibrators worked for them because the shape of the body is not taken into account. That's why we've given ours a curve so that it's easier to use, regardless of what body shape and size you have."
A lot has happened in society in the past few years when the conversation turns to sex and sex toys, and they have also felt that development at Klub Venus.
"It's amazing what has happened in just a few years. It's so great to see that people feel more comfortable talking about these topics and take ownership of their sexuality and dare to show who they are. We are incredibly happy about the great trust people show us when they send us deep and vulnerable messages about their lives. We are very grateful to be a part of their journey and we hope that Cloud can give even more people more amazing orgasms.”
