Lube cream

Lube can make sex so much more fun. Not only if you have challenges with getting wet. A cream with good sliding properties can give a completely different sensation than sex au natural. See our selection of both water-based and silicone-based lubricants.

Why use lubricant?

If you can't get wet when you have sex, a lubricant is a liquid helping hand that makes it all slide much easier - literally. Maybe your body just needs to be helped to get started with a little bit of lube before it gets its own juices going. With a good lubricant on the bedside table, you and your sex partner can dose yourself how much lubricant you need to make sex feel absolutely fantastic. And even if you don't have problems getting wet, a little lube can make a huge difference to your sex life. Sex with lube can feel almost velvety soft and lovely. If you use sex toys, the lubricant is important to remember. It makes it much easier to move your dildo or vibrator back and forth - especially if it is made of e.g. silicone, which may well provide some resistance.

Which lubricant should I choose?

A good lubricant must be able to meet many criteria. Perhaps you prefer an allergy-friendly cream, a cream made from natural ingredients, or a lubricant that e.g. increases sensitivity. When you buy lubricant for intercourse, you must first of all decide whether it should be silicone-based or water-based.

Lubricant with or without silicone?

Should you choose a silicone-based lube or a water-based lube? If you are going to use it together with sex toys, you should choose a cream based on water. If it is silicone-based, you risk ruining your favorite vibrator or dildo, because the silicone can dissolve rubber. If, on the other hand, you do not want to use it together with toys, you can safely choose a cream based on silicone. Some people find that a silicone-based lubricant has better sliding properties and feels more delicious. Feel free to buy both a silicone-based lubricant and a water-based one. Then you have for all purposes.

Good advice when buying lubricant

Choose a hypoallergenic lubricant if you have allergies or sensitive skin.
If you want to use it together with sex toys, you must choose a cream based on water.
If you're not going to use it with sex toys, you might think better of silicone-based lube. Try different lubes to find one that suits you.

Can I use lubricant if I'm pregnant?

Many pregnant women have problems getting wet during sex. New mothers who are breastfeeding often experience the same thing. A good lubricant can remedy the problem. Make sure you choose an allergy-friendly cream. Then you can safely use lubricant during the entire pregnancy.

What can be used as a lubricant?

You can use e.g. almond oil, olive oil or another oil at home from the kitchen as a lubricant. We would always recommend using a lubricant that has been manufactured for the purpose, so that you do not risk infections or allergic reactions.
